Altos de Chavón, located within Casa de Campo in La Romana, Dominican Republic, is one of the country’s most unique and enchanting cultural attractions. Designed in the style of a 16th-century Mediterranean village, it was built in the 1970s by Italian architect Roberto Coppa and Dominican master craftsman José Antonio Caro, becoming a timeless landmark that blends history, art, and breathtaking landscapes.

Walking through Altos de Chavón feels like stepping back in time. Its cobblestone streets, stone buildings, and artisan workshops create an authentic old-world ambiance.
