Mamajuana Travel is a Dominican tour operator founded in 2011 in Santo Domingo and registered with the Ministry of Tourism. We run 40+ tours, day trips, concerts and transfers across Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, Samaná, Puerto Plata and La Romana, with local bilingual guides.

The people behind Mamajuana
Gelinson studied architecture at UNPHU and was editor in chief of ArQ101 before turning to tourism. He is a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute and brings that discipline to every group program and event. Today he leads Mamajuana Travel from Santo Domingo as CEO and managing director, overseeing how each experience is designed, the partnerships with local operators and the service to travelers, groups and companies. He regularly joins tours alongside the guides to check the experience firsthand, from pickup to the last stop.
