What Is Pay on Arrival and How It Works
Last updated: March 31, 2026
Pay on Arrival — reserve now, pay cash on the day
Pay on Arrival lets you secure your spot on a tour with no upfront online payment. You pay in cash when your guide or driver collects you.
How it works
- Book online — Select your tour, date, and group size. Choose "Pay on Arrival" at checkout.
- Receive confirmation — You get an instant booking confirmation by email. Your reservation is confirmed with no deposit.
- Pay at pickup — On tour day, your guide collects cash payment at your hotel or pickup point.
Currency accepted
We accept US Dollars (USD) (preferred) and Dominican Pesos (DOP) at the prevailing bank rate on the day of your tour.
Is the reservation guaranteed?
Yes. Once you receive your confirmation email, your spot is fully held. Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance if your plans change, so we can offer the spot to other travelers.
Which tours offer Pay on Arrival?
The option appears at checkout when it's available for your chosen tour. Tours requiring advance supplier commitments (boat charters, national park permits) may not offer this option.
What if I miss the tour without cancelling?
Repeated no-shows may affect your ability to use Pay on Arrival in the future. Always notify us if your plans change — even the same day.
